I am pulling the motor in a few weeks to get it rebuilt, and want to make sure I am not going to be "surprised" by anything when I do this project.
Anything I should know or expect that isn't covered in the FSM? I spent a few hours looking around at various forums but I haven't really found anyone that mentioned issues while doing the pull, other than that damned rear motor mount (Insert SideShow Bob Grumble) and use a lot of zip ties to handle the wire management.
Got a clutch kit with a new throw-out bearing, will order the lightweight flywheel. Anything I should take care of on the transmission while it is out?
I will be replacing the sway bar bushings, endlinks, struts, and springs and all 4 engine mounts. I might try to do the control arms and tie rod ends while it is all apart so I don't have to revisit it down the road.
