For those of you who use RainX

What do you use for the inside part of your windows? rainx is only for the outside, and i still need to clean the inside heh =p ;)

All you really need to do is use a spray water bottle with a drop....and I do mean a drop of dish detergent. Especially on your back window! Anything with major chemicals can damage the antenna! If you would like something that helps with fog...then use FogX by RainX, but not on the back window....again it is best to be extremely careful!

Whats the best thing to use to get rid of all the nasty little water spots on the windows after your wash the car and then dry it? I've tryed windex and that didn't work, I've tried washing them good while i'm washing the rest of the car and then when I dry it I can still see them. I've heard 50/50 mix vineger and water, any truth to that working.

add a little baking soda to the car wash to reduce the acidity in the water. that'll help prevent some spotting on the car itself.. as far as the windows.. just use windex.. and some good towels...
inside.. use windex.

windex DOESNT work on those water spots. once i get my window fixed and i can finally wash my car again, im gonna try stoners invisible glass.

Rain X is great on side windows - prevents that "gelling" of the water when the window is a little dirty - keeps the water beading up and blowing away. On some cars (or with some wipres) it can make the blades chatter; I've had no problems with the MSP.

Water spots? I keep a winter wiper blade handy and use it to squeegee the windows (heck, the whole car) right away after washing, keeps the spots from forming in the first place. Never had a problem removing them just using water, but when I lived in a hard water area they were a beast.

Try using windex to get them clean, and then use (#0000) steel wool. It's used for polishing, and works great for rubbing out the water spots. The invisible glass did not get rid of them for me. Obviously, DO NOT use on tint.

ever try using newspaper insead of towels or paper? the ink works great at removing dirt and waterspots. i've been using it for years. try it with whatever window cleaner you like!

Use water with a splash of lemon juice. Cuts through anything, and smells good too. Never hurt any tint or defrosters on any car I've ever had.
I've heard of the newspaper thing also, but I've seen it smudge too. I've never done it, I just use quality towels and water with lemon juice.
RainX in 2-3 coats on the outside (takes about 30 minutes to do it right) and I never run my wipers. I haven't replaced wiper blades in years. Once I'm above 10mph, the water is gone, so I've never needed them, even in down pours.

sorry bout the 2x post? i haven't had a smudging problem with the paper...i use a new piece once on gets too damp....i'm goona try that lemon thing...also if you keep up with the rainx there's nothng like it!!!
