No gain from opening the intake on a turbo car? LOLRican219 said:No real gain from CAI except for sound. Motor Mount takes away the shifting CLUNK and will regain the loss of torque due to the crappy factory mount. I could tell a difference when i put mine on after I did my full 3inch exhaust and I had wished I had done it first.

Then add exhaust after the intake.
My car is just fine without the mount.
So you have a dyno sheet before & after the mount to show me I'm losing all this tq? (hand) (rofl)Rican219 said:Exactly no REAL gain on a turbo'd car yes i said that. Ask anyone you get no real gain but sound. Any Dyno I have seen on the MZR did not show a significant gain. I saw my real gains in my full 3 inch Turbo Exhaust.
Since you have NO mount you have NO room to talk. Ask anyone here that does and see if they found a difference. You will see that I am correct. Get you one then tell me what you found mean while I will enjoy the Torque that you are loosing.

Tell that to the countless people who have had warranty claims DENIED b/c of mods. Not just MS6 guys either.AWDTerror said:and again....mods DO NOT void your warrenty it is against FEDERAL law for them to void your warrenty based on mods....although dealers can deny service.....
AWD Terror is right; the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act states that it is up to the manufacturer to prove that the aftermarket product was the cause of any damage.07MS6 said:Tell that to the countless people who have had warranty claims DENIED b/c of mods. Not just MS6 guys either.
It's up to YOU to prove the mod didn't cause the breakage though not the dealer.SuperStretch18 said:AWD Terror is right; the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act states that it is up to the manufacturer to prove that the aftermarket product was the cause of any damage.

If any add-ons are the cause of damage; then you are screwed. If not, threaten a lawsuit (I mean really threaten lawsuit, like with a letter from your lawyer, and you will see how fast the service department changes their tune). Dealers know enough not to challenge this in court.
