ok got the swap and everything done, it runs and drives ok, but after it is warmed up it wont idle and just dies

it will idle for 10-20 mins (its cold here) just fine, but once it warms up idle keeps falling smoothly but quickly, i can catch with throttle and hold it and extremely light throttle will hold idle just fine, as soon as i release it is dead, leave it cool down and it will idle and run again until i let it go.

now 2 things i read was egr valve, and the maf sensor, my maf is right before my throttle body, and i was reading i should move it to after my filter? i do have a FMIC.

any suggestions?

no i dont,.

it is a new maf sensor, and right before TB, if i unplugg sensor it will stay idling but moves between 500-900 rpm, if i plug back it it will just die again

do you have a boost/vacuum gague?

some vacuum reading will help alot in this case, have you tried to drive it at all?

^^^yup, I agree 100%. The same thing happened to me when I installed my intake manifold. I spent an entire 2 months trying to figure out why my car wouldn't run. I would start the car and it would die as soon as it started. Finally did some brainstorming and found out was a vac leak. My lower injector seals were leaking badly. I bought new injector seals and it sealed up nicely. I started the car and it fired right up. The car would also do the same thing with the MAF unplugged, and would die as soon as you plug it back up

Hornsfan, what's up man!!!

Here is a vid of my car when it happened, sorry for the poor quality:

Whats going on? Congrats on the haltech!!!

thanks man, installed it yesterday. Has a base map from Sam on it. I haven't had a chance to really mess with it since I recently blew my stock turbo. But my new GT3071R will be here tomorrow so I'll swap them out and start tuning. It will definitely be a low boost tune until I can build the motor..lol. Next step anyway

Sorry to hear about the turbo but that is great news man! The car is going to be sick!
