hey guys, so the last few days its been between -18F and 3F and the car, when coming to an idle at a stop light or stop sign, it stalls out every time and driving along at 20-5 vacuum, its runs 10.1 and back fires like a b****.....car has CAI in wheel well, 1 step colder plugs, 2.5 cat back, ssafc running superstock, BOV/BPV setup, stock MAF location, and hard pipes. would maybe putting the intake inside the engine bay make a difference? all i know is that my IAT sensor was reading -8F +- 5F, and when its above 0, it wont do it....

Check to see if there is a leak before the Mass Air Sensor, one of the clamps or a break in the plumbing.

Check also for Vac source leaks, all of the small hoses around the intake manifold.

A leak will cause erratic idle.

could it maybe be the ssqv venting out to atmosphere? where its cold, things moving to slow?

Agreed, it will bind up. You can try to take it apart and clean it, use a very light oil.

i tried just running through the BPV and its works great now besides the turkeys that moved back in.....ill try the light oil on the ssqv and see if that makes a difference....thanks!!

i might also try a re circulation kit for the ssqv so i dont have to relocate my maf....
