:D

I like the "deep dish" wheels. The front end looks a little too squared off (3rd picture down).

That's a wide little b****. I'm not a fan of mounting narrow tires like that. I looks goos sometimes though.

that is most definately EDM, Not sure why but every body seems to do crazy ass deep dish wheels usually smaller than 17 on their cars in europe. The thing I don't like about most of them is that they tend to stick out past the sides of the car. I definately like the lower part of the front end. Has that RS or reiger look to it that Vws and BMWs have. Wish I could scan a bunch of my euro car mags. You guys would have a field day. If you are ever in a newstand or barns and noble pick up a copy of MAX SPEED. THe euro version not the american. You will see everything from tight cars to naked chicks, and usually some pretty good reviews of cars and products. Damn I think I may have to go pick up the new issue during lunch today. Dammit makes me want to go EDM with my car instead of JDM. Oh well we'll have to see

I picked up a euro car audio mag at the airport...great reviews, except I didn't know how much everything costed cause it was in pounds!

Didn't know the Familia's could look mean like that...ours is kinda cute compared to EDM. EDM spec would really standout here in the US...

those aren't really EDM, those are aftermarket body kits by ATH (as written on the plates). if these came stock like that then whoa! lol

the factory EDM cars are pretty similar to our protege5's minus our circle tailights and the front bumper sidemarker.

love the front lip =D

YellowBagged, try:
http://www.ath-hinsberger.com/indexf.htm

I found the site by doing a search on yahoo. They've got body kits for the 626 too, glad I didn't repair the bumper on my '98 626 yet...

In that other thread you started someone also mentioned Postert body kits. Seems like Mazda's got a decent following in Europte.

concerning the ath kits:

pls consider: the front kit is available for different models of the BJ....
the ones who were built from 1998-2000 and the 2001+ models
the difference can be seen right at the rear part to the front lights..
the bumper WITHOUT foglights are avail for for -2000 model, the one WITH fogs is avail for the 2001+ models

a while ago i talked to mr. hinsberger personally and he told me that the kits are for the "exclusive" models (which are NOT equal to your p5...because: the bumper setup/fixation is different (more like the japanese models) than the the "sportive model" which actually is your p5....
you will have to get the correct fixing material from ath directly or your local mazda dealer
