they are the only size choice in a racing tire that has the same circumference as the stock SP5000's. Of course they are 10mm wider than stock so grip and treadlife are helped :} I am not getting wider wheels because I want to race in stock class this year.
Thanks, I got the same response from one of the mechanics at work who has been racing since the 60's. Treadlife is a little important since I will be racing in 2 regions this season, I want 2 HS champion trophies and I cannot afford 2 sets of tires a year.
Of course it's easy for me to say..... I autox in STX where I don't have to worry about them short life r-compounds.... A nice set of Azenis will last all year, driven on the street...
