She got a half hour on TLC. The accident brings you to tears. But it's the work she does now that REALLY gets you. Just a selfless person. She (at least in the special) is more comfortable and accepting of who she is than most of us who appear "normal," whatever the hell that is.

yea, this story really touched me. Its somthing that we all have no control over as long as people continue to get behind the wheel s*** faced drunk. She was so pretty and had so much ahead of her and now her life will never be considerd to be "normal" no matter what. The fact that kids will stare at her like a freak now because of sombody elses stupidity really makes me sad for her. I'm thinking about sending her a card or money or somthing to help out. Its probably one of the saddest things I have ever seen. (and I usually have no compasion for human beings) no I'm not trying to be a smart ass its just I don't care about people like most other people do. Its kinda hard to explan, like I would rather save a puppy from a burning buliding then some high school drop out living on well fare that cheats on there husband and hits there kids .ect you know what I'm saying?... of couse you don't I took somthing totally serious and ****** it all up nice going... Im such a dick weed.... damn it...whatever... never mind. sorry

ive seen that before also. Im like you promp3, i really have no compasion for society as a hole, but that story gets to you. my buddy was hit by a drunk driver last weekend. luckly he lived (shattered left foot and broken jaw) he was driving a dakota. and some drunk kid in an Eclipse hit him head on. my buddy had to been doing 60 (speed limit 55) and they said the kid had excessive speed (passing a semi on a two lane road) but this time it was the drunk that got killed.
i personally think we need tougher laws. get caught once, suspend driving privilage for 1 year. get caught a second time suspend driving privilage for LIFE (yes life). Im sorry driving is a privilage NOT a right and to many people take it for granted. sorry ill stop now.

well i live right infront oh my old elementry skool. not to long ago was my old music teacher (Mr. Jerry Little) leaving the skool on his motorcycle and reached the nearest stoplight...keep in mind the STOPLIGHT WAS only 100 feet away!!! anyway... the light turned green and he began to ride and SOME DRUNK F**KIN RETARD @$$HOLE COME FLYIN THROUGH AND HITS AND DRAGS HIM A COUPLE FEET... BEING SAID... THAT WAS ONE OF THE SADDEST DAYS OF MY LIFE... "Don't be stupid, Drive safe and DONT DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!!
