So I'm trying to put in some DDM HIDs, and the bulb is waaaay too big to fit in the hole (that's what she said?) Has anyone had experience with this, and what did you do to remedy it?

You have pics? My DDM bulbs fit fine. The back of the bulbs protrude out a tad bit, but I was still able to get the dust boot on there.

Comparing it to the stock H7 bulb. These things are massive! Do you think there was a mess up in the ordering?

Here's as far as it goes in the housing....which is not at all. ha

Thoughts? Should I give them a call about it? It'll take forever to get my HIDs again, but if I can get the right set that would be awesome.

Well now I feel like an idiot. (oops) Someone came along in the auto lab and showed me that I need to take off the plastic cover. haha If DDM's instructions were working online that would've been super helpful!

Alright, now the issue is the spacing without the stock headlight adapter. How did you guys do it? Did you just tape the bulb in or something?

My kit came with some black spacers:

Ah I didn't see them when I ordered them. Shoot. I just ordered some from TRS, so hopefully those will get here soon.

On another note, when trying to put back in the stock headlights, my headlight spring thing came out. Any suggestions on replacing/reinstalling them? It's the passenger side, so there's basically no room, but the spring itself looks fine. Should I plan on getting my headlight assembly out and putting it back in that way?

I like mine, except the fact that mine originally came with a dead ballast, and DDM didn't believe at first. So I had to ship it all the way back to California for them to test it, only to have to check in on them on the status, only to have to wait for them to have a replacement ship from China to California, only to have to wait for the replacement to ship from California. (toetap)

Your kit didn't come with spacers? eBay also has them for cheap.

As far as the springs....if it's not broke, then it should be able to be secured back with the screws that hold them to the headlight assembly.
