does anyone know if there is an o-ring where the hose attaches to the clutch master cylinder? mine is loose and has a leak there, so i dont know if i can replace a seal/o-ring or just change the whole thing.

Remove the hose from the white fitting and see if you can unthread the fitting from the housing. If you can, my guess is that it has tapered pipe threads. If so, you can wrap them with Teflon sealing tape. Just make sure you wrap the tape clockwise as you are facing the lower end of the fitting. Seat the tape inside the connector threads by gently using a fingernail to follow the thread path upward.

You can probably buy a cylinder for $15 from NAPA. Might as well just do that instead of ****** around.

Of course, a $5.00 roll of Teflon tape trumps a $15 part, every time..........

However, if the install is a pain, then it might be better to throw in a new (high quality) one.

thanks guys, i wasnt sure if that white part had threads. mine is definitely loose there, but i'll buy a new one from rockauto for $12.
