Clear Side Marker Lights

I've been wanting to change the side marker lights on my MS6 for some time now, but heard they weren't being sold anymore because they are not reflective enough. I found some here on eBay for the regular 6, and was wondering if they are the same size as the MS6.

If anyone has used the regular 6 marker lights on their MS6, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

they are easy to do. I went with tint spray on mine.

I own a set of the one's that aren't being sold anymore. They have a DOT stamp on the lens, and the reflector part is chrome.
Can't get more reflective than that.
They look great! I put amber LEDs in so they look colorless during the day, and "law ligit" at night.

I just got the lights in the mail, and was wondering if anyone had any detailed instructions on how to replace them. Also, any pictures would help too. I'm guessing they are pretty easy to replace, but I'd like to make sure before I go ahead and do it.

Thanks

They are very easy, go through the wheel well.ther are 2 pllastic screws and pull out from bumper, twist out the light, push the clip on the end of the OEM light and it will pop out.

I ordered them through Amazon from a company called Auto Parts Train. It was shipped quickly, and it comes with two amber replacement bulbs.

I have em to and they aren't reflective as reflectors at all angles. They are reflective enough and have the dot marings but I wouldn't fully give other drivers full credit for seeing them on dark color cars. Better example is when a tool drives with just park lights on thru a parking lot at night.

End result

Ouch!!! That looks like that hurt.
Will insurance cover it? Or ya just gonna have it fixed on your own.....

I like the spray tint look on these....

I was actually considering tinting the side markers as well as the reflectors on the rear valance...
anyone do that ? Sorry to thread jack(poke)

What spray tint did you use? "Nightshades"?

I have them on my MS6 as well... however... They don't fit exactly right... it sits down inside the bumper a bit more than the stock units... not terrible.. but something I noticed... I'm picky about having everything perfect... and ... they weren't perfect.. but good enough for now... and better than amber =)....

Now I just need to get the damn white LED's to actually be WHITE....
