cHROMED OUT vALVE COVER

I want to chrome out my valve cover. I have seen it before on a yellow p5 on this site. Don't remember who. Would the chrome plating cause extra heat absorption or any other problems? And for the person w/ the yellow 5 what did it cost ya for the dip?
