(rant) Not that anyone gives a crap, but I just finalized my divorce today. We almost made it 10 years, but there were too many bad things going on that I just couldn't deal with it anymore. So this is the first evening for me as a single person again.

I guess my most comforting thought is that I have a new P5 and I do live on So. FL so I will be able to find someone to share my life with again...

Party on everyone...(drinks)

congrats...i guess. i never know what to say, do i say i am sorry or good for u in cases like that? in your case it sounds like congrats is the right choice. and following doomer's advice, come to towers on friday, hang out with us and we usually go to get a few drinks after cops kick everybody out, so hopefully you'll have fun.

congratualtions on your divorce. i am saddened by any dissolution of marriage, however, i know sometimes it just wasn't meant too be. Got to ask: children?

Huh?

Just trying to say that children make breaking up difficult! I know from personal experience.

LinuxR,
sorry. wasn't inferring anything other than puzzlement. No divorce is clean, especially when children are involved. Not to sound too altuistic, but w/my 2 bambino's (8 & 5 y/o), I can't imagine being separated from them and their mom. Something to be said about our prodigy.

My 20 y/o niece is going just thru that. Biological dad hassling w/her and her new husband. It's worse when children are "used" like pawns to "get back at the parent." Too many divorces occur here in California. I pray that's not the case w/GNsPR5.

Thanks to all for the support. To answer the question, we have no children. It is an amicable divorce so there is no dispute over property or financial stipulations. It's different now going home after work and no one is there, or going to be there.

I'm going to regroup and then start that good old fashion dating game...
