I've got a set of the factory racks for my 2008 mazda 5, and up until this xmas we've been using an el cheapo (on sale at cdn tire for 90 bucks cheap for you other canucks on the forum) cargo box for the past 6 years on our vehicles. Well, this box has done its duty, but with the locks busted, the springs almost shot, and it being held closed with rope and bungee cords, it is time for a new box.
Has anyone purchased the mazda cargo boxes, and if so are you happy with them? I believe they are made by thule, but I may be mistaken on that.
We don't need anything huge, nor something to carry skis, just luggage and extra stuff that we don't want to leave in the back with the dog on trips.
At first I thought the mazda ones were quite pricey, but after looking at some of the thule and yakima ones at a local roof-rack shop, they appear to be in the general ball-park price wise.
