what about painting it to look like carbon fiber?? ever thought about that one? i was watching OverHalled and that's what they did on the hood of a car. and it looked great!! thinking of doing that myself!! well, getting it painted that way, not painting it myself.. just thought i'd clear that up..

Wow! Good idea. I really like the look of a Carbon Fiber hood, but dont care too too much about the weight difference. I might try that.(dunno)
