Canadian Part Number Request

Ok, ... Canadian roof rails:

They have four small plates, each about 1" x 4" that are screwed directly into the roof. These are the plates that the canadian towers screw into. They are the ones that are UNDER the plastic filler panels.

Can anyone tell me what the part number of these things are? I'm assuming they are all the same PN, just four of them. The should either have two bolts mounted to it, or I need the PNs for the bolts and the nuts that hold them in.

Also, does anyone have the kit PN for the Canadian towers?

For the part number of the rack, go see www.mazda.ca, click on protege5 and then the accesories brochure.

For the plates, I dont think they are screwed in, they just pop off...I'll try to look underneath to see if any numbers are written there.

I was wondering why US P5's have such high rails? Is it to accomadate your type of roof rack?

The plates you're talking about are the inserts that close up the holes in the rail.

The plates I need the part numbers for are the ones that YOUR roof towers screw into (the plates UNDERNEATH the ones you're talking about).

And thanks for the kit lead.

The PN is BJ3D-V4-701 for anyone who wants to know.

you can get those from the US dealers now, because the 2003's dont have any roofracks . they look just like the canadian ones.

Damn, sorry don't have my 99-02 protege parts list with me. If you can wait till later this evening 1800ish(Est time) then I can check to see if it has them.
