blitz powermeter ID, INSTALLED lots of pics =)

so i did this today outside of our shop, pretty clean install and nice looking =)
reads speedo really accurately, i input weight as 2800lbs (i counted myself in) and so far my highest hp rating is 110 @ 80mph (it doesnt connect to a tach line) ..so i guess that spretty accurate too, it attempts to act as a portable tire/chassis dyno. im going to try out the 1/4 mile function later tomorrow.
pretty cool little device, never though it would be that accurate.

it looks phat, im just not sure about the location, it would piss me off while driving, but it is a good location to easily view it. it would be cool if u could mount it in the steering colum or something if it wasnet to big and dint obstruct ur view or something

i was going to put it on the steering hub, or right over where the tape deck usually is, but neither installation wouldve been as clean...and also, you always look up when driving, i would still be forced to look down when driving if i installed it there... i dunno..thats just my reasons..i think its pimp..hehe

i think ive figured out how it reads horsepower..it reads it in relation to what your max speed and weight is, guessing physics that a certain weight/mass must have X amount of horsepower to reach X amount of speed. So the only way to get a really accurate reading is to go max speed. I guess I will be hitting the highway this weekend to see. right now it says 130hp @ 90 mph. im thinking if we hit around our stock max, which tends to be 120ish, i should be pretty close to the flywheel output. not a bad tool at all.
