Bedliner on wheels?

In addition to my 06 Speed6, I've also got an Xterra. On one of the Xterra forums, a bunch of guys have been painting their wheels with Duplicolor bedliner spray. I have to say it looks pretty tough on the X's.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this on their stock Speed6 wheels? I've read here how some people have powdercoated their wheels, and that seems like the safest choice. It seems like it would be difficult to get the bedliner to coat evenly on the factory Speed6 wheels.

According to the Xterra guys, the bedliner spray is pretty durable on the wheels.

Looks cool on the nissan, not sure how it would look on speed6. Interesting though, someone should try it(shrug)

i'll give it a shot probably on my msp wheels when it gets a little nicer around here. i think it looks awesome!

i got a buddy that sprayed his entire Grand Cherokee with bed liner. looks really nice, and turned the truck into a tank.

Ha, I had been thinking about the concept of doing that but brushed it off as a stupid idea. I have been thinking about maybe coating the wheel well liners with that stuff though, or coating some of the under body components with it. That looks wicked on the Xterra though. I would considering doing it on the 6 if someone else did it first lol
