battle of the wagons (Vibe vs P5)

so I'm coming home from my parents place with my gf on the freeway, when i spot some headlights coming up quick in my rear view. it was a fairly tall car, car passes by me doing about 90 or so and its a Pontiac Vibe with a TRD Badge on the back of it. I guess he saw my slammed wagon .

I didnt think too much of it since i hadnt raced in a while and my bottle is empty. So i decide to chase him for a lil bit he stays about 7 cars ahead of me, i give up trying to catch him, and then awww he slows down for me, i did a fly by like he did me, we run through traffic he follows me going about 80-90.

Finally i let him get next to me, i was like "lets see what this thing can do all motor, lol" so i punch it as hes coming up, we both go. Im hitting about 100-110, im pulling! wooo! I took it to about 125-130 on the beltway, open freeway no traffic. It was sweet, i took him by like 6 cars, lol.

I usually lose in all motor races, but i guess the TRD Vibe is inferior. LOL

If it were really TRD, it should be a Toyota Matrix, not a Pontiac Vibe. Now they're similar enough that some parts might swap. I think they're basically the same car afterall. TRD would look pretty stupid on a Pontiac, though.

TRD does not list any engine upgrades for the Matrix anyway. There is a clutch, sway bars, strut tower bars, springs, wheels, and a big brake kit but that's all I saw.

The Matrix is pretty heavy so I wouldn't be surprised. I was just saying that there is nothing TRD that should be making it faster in a straight line.

I test drove the XR and it didn't feel near as quick as the p5. I was never able to try to XRS, but even the AWD XR didn't feel like it took off faster.

That just a seat of the pants review.

By the way, what about a stock Sub outback (not WRX). Can we take them, again, seat of the pants feel seemed slower. We definately can corner better than the Outback and Vibe/Matrix

They still have the fold flat rear seat thats pretty nice though.

yeah i love the p5s i think there better than any other wagon/hatch out there, even the bmws and the lexus one
