Autometer Pillar

I just wanted to know if you can fit 60mm gauges in the autometer pillar. I know it says for 2 1/16 but couldn't you just dremel it out a bit more? Thanks! Evan

No, there isn't much room to fit bigger ones.
Also an issue is the gauges rubbing the factory pillar underneath.

2 1/16" = 2.0625"
2.0625" = 5.23875 cm
5.23875 cm = 52.3875 mm

The 60mm do no fit, but I have seen the pods expanded to fit the 60mm gauges.

60 mm = 6.0 cm
6.0 cm = 2.3622"
2.3622" is about 2 3/8" (2 6/16")

The new expanded size should be about 2 3/8".

Although I have seen some 60mm and they are deeper than smaller gauges.

I guess all I am saying is your milage may vary when you expand out the gauge pod.

i am still trying to fit a greddy 60mm universal pod to the pillar. its duct taped on now :mad:

ive tried glue and melting...neither work... i guess i will have to resort to screws...oh well..of course ill make it work and make it look better than duct tape :mad: :mad:

I think the only gauges that match the factory dash very well is the Greddy Warning gauges. What about the DEFI D-gauge in black? I want something that matches pretty well. Thanks! Evan
