Alright,
I'm not going to name any names, BUT,
It just seems like some people who are supposed to be working sure do contribute a lot to this board during the course of the day.

Fill out the poll, I will start!

Agreed,
I post pretty much ONLY from work, but I also get my work done.
I gotta know, who answered NO?

Ya gotta slack off when you work in a call center.. You wouldn't even believe what goes on here while we're on calls with customers. :D

I WORK AT A CALL CENTER TOO!!! I know exatly what goes on. Are you outsourced tech support or what? I work for Stream International and do tech support in dallas.

The first 2 things I open up when I get to work is this site and AIM. The work stuff just slows u down on using those. I bet a few people from this site may have called where I work before.

I work for Dell here in Austin. I sell software & peripherals, so I have to deal with all kinds of people.. You *must* stay entertained or you'll get burnt out very quickly.

I worked for Dell in Carrollton doing tech support. Now I work for TaxCut and might switch to MSNTV. I know what you mean about staying enteratined, customers can be very ... interesting.. sometimes..

I love my job though and I love helping people so its fun.

I'm in development myself...I put that compile time to good use.

I doubt any of you have used the software I work on though...
Computer Associates eTrust Antivirus
...its like Norton AV for businesses, except better. Everything over a WAN can be managed from a single admin server that can force scan jobs, update virus definitions, and even install new versions of the product on any computer on the network.

Why thankyou...
...cept I can't take credit unless you have a Netware server that you plan to put v7.0 on. . .

My dept is in charge of porting the software to other OSes. I just started in January and we're finishing up stuff for the Netware beta then moving on to Mac OSX.
