Hey anyone out there have the greddy profec b spec II?

I just installed mine tonight, and im having problems configuring it. It goes by precentages, set and gain, and set gain. etc. frankly i'm lost, ive tried adjusting different things, i peaked at 9.3 psi, but it falls off to about 5 psi. Can anyone explain to me how i set it? What should i set the boost percentage? what should i set the gain, what should i set the set gain to? just over all how should i configure it. im wanting to run about 9.5 psi stably.

no one at all, im not believing this come on someone has to have some info....
 
If you havent already you need to put it in learning mode to adjust to your boost.

1. Turn the power switch ON

2. The indicator will show "P1"

3. Make a full-throttle run in third or fourth gear to obtain maximum boost. (This is the base boost.) The LED will indicate the maximum boost achieved during the run. The display will flash a read out in BAR pressure.

4. Push the power switch TWICE to go to "P2" mode. The indicator will read "P2"

5. Make another full-throttle run under the same conditions as you did in "P1." When the indicator, which in this situation is an active boost gauge, shows NEGATIVE pressure when you back off the throttle, P2 is finished. (If the indicator shows "EE," make a few more runs until the PRofec shows negative pressure.
 
mines not the same, there is no p1 etc.. mine isn't the same as yours the the profec b spec II when i turn it on no p1 shows it it just goes straight to -99 vacuum im guessing.
 
Sorry man, I'm all stoned and didnt see the 'Spec-II' part. I don't know ANYTHING about the spec II, just the regular profec b.
 
well hrm i wonder if i can take it to a shop and have them setup my controller, i peaked at 15.7 psi :O and lemme tell you now im skerd i may have fuxxed something up. just a peak tho it dropped soon as it hit. so im gonna wait until someone can tell me exactly how to set it up or take it to a shop and have them do it.
 
make sure it is on auto and not manuel...
Set = boost, whatever boost u want
gain should be set between 5-15 for the msp 10 is good.
 
for 10 psi consistent im set at a 50% gain on the high setting and 20% for the low i got i dynoed like that dunno if this helps but i hope it does
 
well i got one and anyway greddy is sending me a new one cause mine crapped out. The 20mins it was running 10 psi i had it set at 40%-50% SET(depending on weather) , gain was 7% Intial was 7.5psi or 75 on the spec II. This spiked around 11-11.5 psi and held 9.5-10. This worked for me so let me know what you get out of it.
Hope your last longer than mine did. BTW Where did you mount the solonoid in the engine bay? Min may have gotten too hot or something.
 
everyones settings is different i suppose i left the stock setting for low, which is just 10 gain 0 on everythign else my high setting is 2 percent gain and 40 percent boost and that holds be right at 10 psi. i up it to 50 when i go to the track and hit about 12 - 13 psi sometimes smacking the fuel cut.
