Id like to see how it looks on the 5 so if you have a pic please post it.
The Q towers work on my other cars and it would be nice to be able to swap the rack from car to car.
See this old thread....seems there was come concern about the clamps squashing the door seals. I sure wouldn't want to use them. See the pictures in the first post.
I just ordered the Yakima #11 landing pads and some control towers for my M5. And of course some Yakima cross-bars. A number of others have reasearched this setup and it works fine.
The landing pads fit the built-in rack mounts on the roof, and the control towers mount on them.
Others have opted for either the Mazda/Thule setup or just got the Thule's directly.
Also, some have used some other brands...Ino is one I think.
Several threads on here about roof racks, either use the search function or expand the date range covered by posts in the lower area of the main forum page and browse the thread titles manually.
