Anyone getting shocked by their MS3?

My speed 3 shocks me a lot. I touch the bottom of the door with my shoe and I feel it through my shoe. When I got a regular 6 as a loaner, it shocked the hell out of me too. My wife's 06 altima never shocks me.

It's PITA to live in a dry weather place and get static shocks all the time. I have a Speed3 GT, the half leather seats helped. When I saw the new seats on the 2008.5 models, I cringed.

The other annoyance is that the glove box seems charged with static...every piece of dust levitates off the carpet up to it!

Try another pair of shoes, I get shocked every time when I wear a particular pair of basketball shoes. Never happens with other ones.

it happens even with my 323 down here in FL but only when its pretty chilly out.......
and yea it is fun when u wait for the girl to get out and shut the door first and you just hear "SH!T"lol

my solution (and it backs up what ThaiGuy was saying for no fingerprints)---
i shut the door by pushing on the door handle.... plastic = no shock
at least for the 323 it works.....

Man, that crap was happening everyday when it was colder out here (FL)...nice big blue sparks that you can see and hear...

I now touch the bottom of the door jam as I get out to ground myself...though I think I don't need to do it anymore since its warmed up. But I've been traumatized...(nervous)(crazy)
