Anyone else's exhaust smell like pee when cooling down?

shrug, is this normal? on my old car (c230 coupe mercedes) premium fuel would burn to a nice, sorta tangy smell. this just kinda smells like pee =\

If its coolant it should smell very sweet. It smells like it tastes...thats why it needs to be kept from animals(they like the taste.)

I have not tasted it, I am only going by A. The smell B. What all of the real* mechanics say.

*Although I have worked on cars since I was 14(21 now,) I do not concider myself a mechanic.

my dog always goes and sniffs radiators. if he had the chance, i'm sure he would drink some coolant. he's crazy.

i notice you just got your car on the 19th. let it break in for a little bit and if the smell hasn't gone by 500-1K miles, bring it to the mechanic. with the car being so new as it is now, they will blame everything on the break-in period. bastard lazyasses at mazda!!!
