Aluminum/Metallic Shift Gate

I think a shift gate that matched the other aluminum look trim would be pretty cool. Anyone seen one or know whether its doable?

they all show thier "shift gates"

I really like the "bootless" look, just seems really clean. Either with the Ferrari gates or with some other solution.

are you going to be selling the shift gate like you did with oilcaps??

What if instead of fingers, you had some kind of teflon or plastic disk that surrounded the stick. When you shift the disk would slide around between two rings placed one on top of the other, with just enough space for the disk. So net effect would be a flat smooth surround of the stick.
