alarm goes off

well my o3 msp alarm started to act up what happens is i lock the doors with the remote but dont arm the alarm well so i think. a while later theh alarm is going off could be 10 minutes or 6 hours. ok hit the unlock button a few times shut it up. walk away with doors unlocked all of a sudden honk and doors lock. couple min later alarm again. of course it wont do it at the dealer so they say cant fix it. car is all stock. any ideas?

well... i live in kentucky and theres alot of rednecks and of course i live by a stop sign which dont help.. and mines constantly going off because of rednecks with loud exhausts driving by

Sounds like what happened to mine when the alarm module went bad.

Take it to the dealer and tell them to check it.

Yeah, and locking with the remote arms the alarm. Lock with the switch and it won't. I turned my sensitivity down quite a bit and that helped.

I know this thread is dead but did you ever fix the problem? My car is doing the same thing...
