2014 CX-5 + Kenwood + Maestro RR - Do you retain access to vehicle setting menus?

I’m upgrading my 2014 Mazda CX-5 to a Kenwood DMX8710S with a Maestro RR and I’m trying to get a definitive answer before I remove the factory head unit.
I know the Maestro retains steering wheel controls, vehicle data, gauges, etc., but I’m specifically wondering about the Mazda “Vehicle Settings” menus that control things like:
Auto lock/unlock behavior

Headlight off timer

Auto headlight sensitivity

Rain sensing wipers settings

Interior light timing

Convenience/chirp settings

Some people online say you lose access completely after removing the OEM radio, while Maestro documentation seems to imply some factory settings can still be accessed depending on vehicle support.
For anyone with a 2013–2016 CX-5 and a Kenwood + Maestro RR/RR2 setup:
Can you still access ANY of those Mazda settings through the Kenwood?

If yes, which specific settings?

Does latest Maestro firmware change anything?

Did you have to preset everything before the install?

Any regrets or workarounds after the swap?

Would especially appreciate replies from people with actual CX-5 installs rather than generic Maestro info
