2003.5 Titanium Gray MSP
Hi, I'm new to this board. If I purchase a MSP, then you'll see me on more often, but anywayz here's my situation.

I messed up my old 1990 Integra last week. It will cost me over $1600 to fix it so I started shopping for new cars. I want the 2003.5 Titanium Gray Metallic one but there aren't any dealerships around me with that color. So I found a good deal on the 2003 Black. It is actually $1,500 less than the Titanium Gray.

The actual pricing that I got is $19,000 for the 2003.5 Titanium Gray, but the dealership doesn't have it in stock and $17,500 for the 2003 Black one.

Should I purchase the 2003 Black one or should I fix my 1990 Integra and wait for the Titanium Gray, or even wait longer for the Blue or Silver color coming out in 2004?

I don't like the Black one because of 3 main reasons:
1) The spoiler is nicer on the 2003.5
2) The rims are tinted on the 2003.5
3) I like the Titanium over the Black

All other differences isn't too much of a deal to me. Let me know what you guys think.

Well, I own the Black Mica so I'm a little more partial to it. Every car I own is black, but if I had a choice it'd be the titanium. The 2003's will really be the stand out cars because 2003.5's have had another batch made and you'll see more of them out on the street. They all have the same problems so I'm thinking a 2003 will be more of a collectors car, even though they're both made in small quantities. Ask anyone on the board if they love their Black Mica, and 100% will tell you yes. To me the Orange stands out to much and the Titanium is more of a WRX color.

For me, I think the spoiler on the 03 is more unique to Mazda. It seems like the 03.5 spoiler looks more off the shelf. I own a Black Mica so like Kenetix I am partial. They all have there ups and downs and it really comes down to what floats your boat.

i just faced that same decision today actually when i put my deposit down, except the titaniums were in stock and i actually test drove a titanium. i ended up with the black though, not because it's a collectors car, but because it looks better and all i can think of when i look at the 03.5 is that it's trying to be a mini evo. the only thing i really liked about the 03.5 over the 03 is the wheels. i really don't like how they changed everything inside to say mazdaspeed rather than sparco.

I like the wing and fogs on my Black Mica. Only thing is black is pain to keep clean, but it looks so sweet!

ok long enough

TITANIUM BABY

Seriously, the color is gorgeous, really easy to take care of ( black is NOT), the wheels are wayyyy nicer, and so is the shifter. Better clutch in the 2003.5 as well. Stronger

just my 2 cents.

2Min... apart!!! LOL (lol) hehe I do agree though i think the Titanium looks better and is easier to take care of.

Oh yeah, I can make my rims look like the 03.5's..I just won't wash them....:)

Hey what's up everyone,

Thanks for all your opinions. They helped a lot. I actually found a Titanium Gray one. The color was so nice I just couldn't refuse. I paid a little more but I think it was worth it. I still think the Black one is nice, but that Titanium is better in my opinion. Well I'll be on this board more often. Thanks.

Not in your wildest dreams can you make your 2003 rims as shiney as the 2003.5's. Can't be done. :) I guess you haven't really seen the 2003.5's yet. Or maybe you did, but they were really dirty or something, but I can't see how anyone could say that.
