So...has anyone or does anyone know from experience if the Eibach Pro Kit from a 1st gen MS3 will also make the rear sag on our MZ5s? I know that OEM MS3 springs will make the rear sag but is that the same case for the much stiffer Eibach Pro Kits? Opinions, thoughts, testimonials, or just simply 2-cents are welcomed. TIA

Back-of-napkin calculations:

The spring rate for Megan Racing rear springs for the mz5 is 230lb/in (first Google hit I found with rates listed). It is safe to assume (for this calculation) that other lowering springs are in the same ballpark, rate-wise.

The installation ratio for the rear suspension is ~0.7, making the rear wheel rate ~160lb/in.

The rear axle weight of the mz5 is about 300lb heavier than the ms3. Divided by two wheels.

150 extra lbs divided by 160lbs/in = 0.94"

So yes, the rear will "sag" by about an inch below how it should sit (on the ms3), if you try to use an ms3 spring set.

Plus, it will handle like poo-poo.
