18" wheels on stock P5

the lip helps it look lower... and for some reason the 6-spoke design is a bit more forgiving to not being lowered

I agree the the lip makes a world of difference...Where did you get it? I really like that and it really completes the front end!

I think I've settled on 17's but damn I like the 18's :(...did you have much trouble installing them or have any issues with the tires rubbing on the springs?

How much do those Volk's cost? I know those are some pretty spendy wheels if you don't find a good deal on them. I like the volk's though, I've always liked them. If you were to go with motegi though and you like the 5 spoke pattern, I would go with RT5's. Heres a couple links.

I was looking at those patterns but not quite what I want...I like simple but unique wheels lol. I'm one of those people who likes the cheerios and corn flakes not the honey nut or the frost flakes lol.

As for the price of the Volks they are.....drum roll and try not to pass out from shock but the price of those lovely 18's is $659.00 per wheel US not including shipping!

The Motegi are the one's that first caught my eye but I wasn't sure on the silver so I've found them in hyper black for $189.00 US and I believe those are the one's I'm going with unless I find something else before spring...but I've learned not to fight my gut instincts so Motegi it looks to be :)

18's with 35 series and stock height. I have racing beat coils that are going in, I just haven't done it yet.

I was just wondering...I'm ordering some new wheels for the girl...she currently has the stock 16" madza wheels on her...I would like to upgrade to an 18" wheel but I'm not lowering the car I want to keep it stock height only because it's my daily driver and cleaning snow and ice out in the winter will be a b**** if it's lowered...question is has anyone put 18"s on leaving they're car stock height and if so what size tire did you put on and how does it look...or can this even be done?...right now I have 195/50/R16 tires on my stock and there is about 1" clearance between the top of the tire and the bottom of the spring...I'm alright with putting 17's on but I would like 18 if this is not a huge feat to tackle...my concern is that it may be too tight a fit...any input would be greatly appreciated! Thx.

It's a DG Motorsports lip. I didn't have any issues with them rubbing until I lowered them. It's because they were a 38mm offset. I rolled trimmed the lip off the fenders and it took care of the rubbing.

I am sure I you went with 18s and didn't like the height you could pick up a set of racing beat springs for a really good price here on the forums. They have a very subtle drop that wouldn't mess anything up in the winter.
