This guy doesn't know how to read properly. He's writing an article on cars he's never even seen. He has the chart for the AJAC testing in front of him and attempting to quote numbers from it except he can't match the lines up. He's quoting 0-100kmh times from the 80-120kmh line AND hes got the wrong numbers for the vehicles....LOL
MS6 4.3sec
SRT-8 4.4sec
SS 4.6sec
Those are the 80-120 times for the vehicles. 0-100kmh times were:
Wow...the MS6 is just getting sweeter and sweeter...(2thumbs)...The 4 second range should be easily within reach once you guys start exchanging info and attract aftermarket support!
s***, here is all the data. Check out the performance category at the bottom. Only 1 car out of 61 (as previously stated by Mazda3) quicker than the MS6....and it only carries 2 people.
Sorry...I don't believe that pdf for a second. The braking distances are all horribly off. Either someone mixed up the data, or the testing wasn't done properly. And if the braking distances are questionable, that makes me wonder about the acceleration data.
Aussie reviewers are getting closer to the low 6 seconds in the 0-100 km/h and 0-60 times. (Same gearing, +70F ambient, -20 bhp). Those times seem alot more realistic given mazda's estimates. (also low 14's in the 1/4)
They need a second pdf to explain their testing procedures, because the data in this little blurb doesn't match up with the rest of the reviewing community.
