dash lights

Hi all....was recently detailing the interior of my 2008 CX9 touring. With the key out of the ignition, I rotated the steering wheel about 180 degrees to clean it at various angles. Anyhow, at one point, the steering wheel completely locked up. At first, I could not get the ignition to move...

1995 BA Astina, I want to change the gauge cluster/dash lights from green to pink or purple. What will I need to change? (are the lights green, or are they clear, leaving the back of the dash plastic to be green?) the lights or the actual plastic in the dash?
