Car: 2016 CX-5 Touring, 6-speaker, non-Bose, w/o NAV. Who doesn't like a good dash speaker installation story... Here is my experience in swapping out the factory dash speaker (a tweeter) for some 3.5" 2-way speakers. Let's hope my choice of speaker was a good one, even if it wasn't in line...

Just used the 303 Protectant Wipes on my dash and all I can say is "wow"! 303 is perfect for the dash. Not sticky or shiny. 303 leaves a nice matte "premium" finish. Plus, no residual lint. I am going back to buy a whole case of the wipes! Mike 2018 Mazda CX-5 Touring 2,767 miles

This may seem odd, but I need to remove the door on the storage bin that sits on top of the centre console - where the nav display would be if I had it. Can I do this without removing a million other dash pieces?

Should the dash security light (icon of car with lock on it) be blinking all the time when the car is off / locked on a Touring model, which does not have an anti-theft system? I did a search and found one old thread relevant to this, but thought I'd see if there are any other opinions. Thanks!
