brakes

I changed brake pads on all four corners this weekend. Went for a drive after and it seemed little weak, but I figured it was just the pads burning off a protective coating (which was just a theory, I don't really think pads ship with any coating on them...) and maybe just seating themselves...

I searched for this, but couldn't find it, so apologies if I missed it. My question relates to the installation of the Hawk HPS pad in the rear caliper of the MS3. The Hawk pads have a totally different spring retention system than the OEM ones do. The OEM pads have a spring that comes off...
