Zoom Zoom Holpfully not Boom Yet!!

well tomorrow i have to pull apart my top end to see what the hell is going on...... i either
#1) exhaust seal on the turbo is bad ..... (this is what i am hoping)
#2) valves are bad
#3) or a ring is cracked
(I dont know that much abt engines...i am the electrical guy so these are just my guesses)
i am burning massive amts of oil and huge puffs come out of the exhaust but some is now coming out of my hood vents. to start i have to pull the plugs and see if their is oil around their. if not i am thinking my turbo exhaust seal went bad.

nomatter what i am going to be getting another engine together soon just in case.

questions, comments..... sorry i am tired so their is probally abunch more things that could be wrong.

BTW i now have a constant flashing cell light and my idle is really high (like the ecu is trying to save the engine)

constant blinking cel is usually pretty bad. last one i had was "multiple cylinder misfire detected"

ya i had 1 flashing cell before but it went away in like 2 minutes, this one will not stop flashing so it is worring me, best case scenerio....... exhaust seal messed up and leaking oil into the exhaust which fried my pri o2 sensor....... seal got worse so now it is leaking bad..........

Defenitley sounds like you ****** something up in the engine..get a obd II reader..and pull the codes..easiest way to see whats going on!

Or you can do a leakdown test w/ compression test!

well my cell stopped flashing and is now just on like always (#2 o2 sensor gone...) so i guess i will find out what is up when i read the codes this weekend

i have no choice, gotta make money to eat (i only drive it 10 miles a day total right now) i am going to try to get the codes read tomorrow around this time (i just got off work so it depends on how long i can stay up) i am also going to pull the plugs tomorrow and see if their is any oil....

well after having to drive a little bit extra today the cell is still not flashing but i think i almost sufficated a convertible 350 z that was behind me due to the huge puffs of smoke.....

well after driving 3 miles to work as soon as i get home i am done driving it until i get it fixed....... i ran to the gas station and left my car running and when i came out their was nothing but white/greyish smoke coming out of my exhaust and vents in my hood. enough to fill the parking lot to where it was hard to see....... so my car is officially down!!!!! (argh)

well no boom yet thankfully
my engine is sound...... turbo exhaust seal is broke dumping oil into the exhaust causing massive amts of smoke..... so i am spared 3000 until i am ready for a new motor and got away with a 100 dollar rebuild kit for now.......... but now my motor just jumped up the ladder quite a bit and i will probally order it next month.....

Yea you really could have been screwed there my friend. You might want to take all you piping off as well clean all that s*** out too.

ya i know i am lucky..... their is no need to clean the pipes since the intake side is fine, no oil at all .....it is all the ex side. i was ready with a 6000 loan to buy a new short block/lsd/clutch/flywheel and maybe a diffrent turbo setup but now i will wait a month where i dont need a loan. plus i am buying the turbo module for my mpi to help me tune and keep my egt's down
but yes i did get lucky and was really nervous
