Well first thing I suppose you notice when unpacking these babies is how HUGE they are. Look at the first picture and compare the caliper size to the keyboard. They are massive

Unpacking the carton, there was absolutely everything you need to install these, right down to the smallest nut/bolt. There were some nice chrome brackets for mounting the larger calipers and even nicer some sweet stainless steel brake lines. Everything was nicely wrapped so nothing was damaged or chipped in shipping, very nice especially with such nice looking brakes (would have been so sad to have seen the gold anodizing chipped)

They even threw in a baseball hat with the VTTR logo.

THE INSTALL

Install was pretty much a breeze, my shop had these things in my car in just over an hour for both sides, the shop was very happy that everything was included so there was no last minute running to the parts store. Nothing had to be cut or grinded either, truly plug and play. I was going to take some pictures of the install process, but by the time I got back from work with a camera, everything was installed.

Now bleeding the brakes after the install.... That was another adventure. Bleeding the brakes took just over an hour and a half.

DRIVING

Man these things rock! I really can feel the difference. The brake pedal is incredibly responsive, and there is no fade to either side under braking. I haven't done any really hard braking that will have to wait for a couple days while I break these in.

APPEARANCE

Man do these fill up that blank space with my new rims, just perfect. There is about 2mm between the calipers and the spokes of my rims. The anodizing is top notch and really makes the brakes stand out.

The only drawback? Im trying to decide if i should get the smaller 6pot bbk for the rears

they are from VTTR and are mad expensive. Well not for bigwoofer though cause he won a sponsorship contest and got them for free.

looks good man. question though, you didn't put a sealer on those rims? you should, it'd save you any pains.

The rims are sealed, first thing i did when i got them. I just was waiting for everything to cool off so i could hose them down.

Are you going to do anything for the rear brakes? That kit looks awesome though wow. In the past week your car has gotten so much more awesome looking, something many didn't even think was possible.

Shows what our little japanese econo-wagons can do when you toss some monies at them :)

^^^^ I wasn't planning at first to do anything with the rear brakes, but I think I will be swapping the rear brakes out to the VTTR kit that is just slightly smaller than this one. And thanks, its been a good week for me and my car this week

I made my rear calipers black so that they don't stand out as much so that people don't laugh at my small brakes.

wow. they look great.

they compliment the new wheels very nicely.

if you have the money, i'd throw the larger set on the back. it'll proabably fill the wheel better anyways.
