Your opinions on Buddy Club 2 body kit for MSP

well it looks stupid. thats like putting an accord body kit on a civic and just giving up and not changing the front to match after doing everything else, or something along those lines.

either do it compeltely, or dont do it. it looks poor fitament to those who dont know exactly how the BC kit looks, and it looks like s*** to those of us who DO know what it looks like (in this case i didnt realize until after).

also i still dont understand why it looks like the intercooler doesnt have couplings or hoses going to it. although i definately like the newer bumper, IF they would fix the enormous gaps.

well I have the bc2 kit and i think it is fine, except for the fitment on the back bumper but that is it. so matthew do YOU have this kit that you are trashing? because you talk like you do...

also, i have that body kit on my lx...it fit so perfect i did it myself..(except a minor gap under the headlights) but yea, however, mine is now getting completely molded so...yeah.

so is it fine, or does it have fitament issues?

it fit perfect or there is a fitament issue under the headlight?

it fits just fine a whole lot better then most kits... so back to the question do you have the kit or not

i dont even have a protege anymore so thats an obvious answer.

see, i dont do things like buy body kits just to see the fitament. i look at others, pics, etc. i read the complaints etc.

you cant say it fits good but not good, it doesnt work like that.

ok so if you dont have a protege anymore and you never had the body kit then why keep talking s*** about it? and if you are quick to pick up on things you would notice my complaint was totally different from the other so obviously it might be an installation issue since you have to drill you won holes. which then means that there would be no fitment problems then huh?

I like the kit on the protege. I was almost going to buy it but I like the way the msp looks already so I decided not to.

although i kinda do like the way it looks.. it really fits like crap and its poor quality.

he has the kit, and even says so, and he HAS the damn kit.

he was one of the ones to have it that i used to base my opinion to not buy the kit.

Here is the BC2 bodykit on my Protege ES. Fit great, but of course it is fiberglass and had to be modified a little bit, and also reinforced. If you use this bodykit I suggest that you use brackets on the front and rear bumpers so that they dont stress alot in the wind and on the highway and such.... Otherwise the kit is great. Here are some pics...

where do i start? where it meets with the hood to the left and right of the home depot grille....garbage. where it meets with the fender...garbage.

just another ill fitting bodykit on an otherwise stock car. i will say from here it looks like the paint job on it is very good.

if you like it, thats whats important, not our opinions. so dont get mad, you posted the pics on the internet.

Ive got the same body kit, and i love it. Yours looks hot as s*** in white. keep it up..future plans?

It dips down on either side where it meets the hood because its fiberglass...no other reason. Because you dont like it does not mean that other people cant like it, very true. Oh and as for where it meets the fender, that was fixed by tightening the bolt that holds the bumper on. It is now fixed. (thumb)

And home depot grille? Common...you cant honestly tell me that you have never heard/seen billet before. Lets be honest your car is prolly stock right, because your afraid of actually doing something to it, or your just afraid of what others will say. For me, I love custom cars, fast cars, whatever. I dont care what people think about my car either way. I do appreciate the constructive criticism though. As for the grille, the bottom holes will have it to, I am working with the company right now in making the grills for the lower holes. I kinda of wish that we shaved the circular fog light holes off the bumper though because I dont plan on putting lights in them. Oh well.

Thanks for the compliments boosted...as for future plans...this is a quick rendering I had done of what I plan on doing to the car...

Of course...what money permits is what will happen to it lol.

It is "somewhat" stock because I am a girl and I do all of the work on the car with help from my friend. I am still in the process of bringing the car to the next level which takes time. So stock, yes it was once. Sorry my mom and dad do not sponsor my car so it is all on myself to do the work needed. When I am done with college maybe I will have more money to spend on it but for now my car is getting done slowly.

Here is another picture to pick apart...enjoy...
