Your First Car

Well my ugly green 70 toyota corona with the 78 corolla engine was my first- total POS but it never stranded me unlike some cars since...

1988 Oldsmobile Regency Ninety-Eight. Red, 4-door. 3800 series V6, power everything, plush interior.... t'was nice. too bad the tranny started slipping and i caused $3000 worth of cosmetic damage after I ran it off a cliff and rested in on top of a tree...

hey! .. it served it's purpose. I put 30,000 miles on it in under 2 years and it didn't rattle with a sound system.

I love my Mazda better, though. and may the Oldsmobile R.I.P.

An absolutly amazing 1983 Volvo 244 DL, Burgundy / Rust with a Tan Interior. Powerful 2.3L SOHC I4, putting out 83whp and 91 lbs.ft to the rear tires (2thumbs) , would run 0-60 'some time today', quarter mile in 'acctually I don't think it can'. Broken Passenger door (wouldn't open, had all my friends 'dukes of hazard' to get in). Went through 2 deer and 1 meridian on seperate occasions, drove away from all 3 (broken headlights and grill only problem, no body damage at all). Damn car was bigger than my Dad's '77 Caddy. Would lose parts on long trips, consistenly got 300 kms out of a 55L gas tank on the highway (thats the same size tank as my P5). After 2 wonderful years of constant repairs she was finally laid to rest after being Rear-ended by a dump truck.

an 86' Saab 900 Turbo w/196,000 miles. This was back in 93' and i drove her to 275,000 w/orig engine and tranny. i loved that car......

93 Dodge Spirit, V-6, 141 hp, Yokohama Avid T4 tires, 16" American Racing wheels, Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs, cleared out corner lamps and turn signals, two 12" JL Audio W3 in a custom ported box, a few amps (a HUGE Sony X-plod that blew out on me since it was a POS, and a JL Audio 500/1), some crappy Panasonic 4x6" speakers, two head units (first a Sony that blew out, then a Panasonic), aaaaaaand .. I think that was about it.

Car's nicknames: Gaggaberry and the Ghetto Sled.

Thing was a ******' shitpile. I put on that stuff on it as my own little personal joke. I think EVERY SINGLE PART on that car had to be replaced at some point. I sold it for $500, and then got my MSP. Yay.

I had two first cars...an '89 Pontiac Grand Prix..all digital on the inside (compass and whatnot) ....No High beams, no E-brake, no radio, power windows were broken (had to force them down), No exhaust (thing sounded like a damn lawnmower..haha (wrc) ...) and i had an '87 RX-7 ...that thing is nuts...also had no exhaust....didn't run when i got it..fan wasn't working, and when i drove it, and "african engineered" the fan, it still often overheated..but that mofo would get up n go, even though the gas mileage sucked..i made it from argyle to haltom city in 30 min (normally an hour or more drive) ...I cried tears of joy when i sold my cars to mexicans!
