Yokohama AVID H4s

They are ok, the ride is good, grip on dry is good, decent on wet, they are supposed to be high mileage, but I had some one for last summer and I'd say they would be good for another summer at the most. One of them is pretty much done because my caster was off.. but that's ok.

I'm currently running AVS ES100's and love them. 12K and still got 60-70% tread. I travel a lot of miles a day so I need something that will last. These claim to run a 500 rating.

Anyone else got these...

I had the regular H4's on the wife's AUDI and VW. Nice tires for the money, but not a performance tire. They out lasted both cars, or 40k plus miles. Never heard of the H4s.

I have 100's on the V8 Miata, but they only have a few Autox's and some highway miles. I've heard great thing about them, and with the limited use I'd have to agree. We'll see how they do for track days.

The H4s is suppose to be a more aggresive tire than the AVID's you're talking about. I'll be running 215/40/17 when I buy these. Read a few reviews and overall seem to be positive.

Wish i could have an autox day (boom07)
