Yakima Forklift & Pair of Thule Prologue 516 bike racks

I sold my Protege5 (biggest mistake of my life) so it's time to sell the bike racks. All parts are used but in really good shape and come with locks. Both racks are fork-mount (with the front wheel removed). Buyer pays shipping- post or PM your zip code for a shipping price.

First up, the Yakima Forklift. This was my favorite bike rack- fits really well (low profile directly onto the factory crossbars), super high quality and looks awesome too! I have shortened this bike rack to fit on the factory Protege5 crossbars and still have full extension of the rear hatch. I used this with a Large frame-sized mountain bike with 26" wheels, and the rear wheel still fit with an inch to spare. Maximum length that will fit is 41" (measured from the fork-end to the middle of the rear tire). With a bike mounted on it, the rear tire will touch the spoiler when the hatch is opened, but it doesn't limit the rear hatch very much. And with no bike on the rack the hatch opens all the way. The only drawback to this rack is that the sunroof will not tilt up with the rack installed. It can still slide open, of course, but no tilt while the rack is on. Comes in the original box with all the papers/manuals. Rack and locks cost $195 new, will sell for $140 + shipping cost.

Yakima Forklift: $140 + shipping
