Lol....so I drove it today.
1st attempt---
CEL came stayed on when the car was cranked....hmm. I could have screwed up the extension on the 2nd O2 wiring. Didn't make it out of the driveway before hot side pipe seperated...possibly forgot to tighten the clamp. Pull back in the driveway and retighten everything...worry about CEL more.
2nd attempt---
Made it several miles and actually got into boost a little. Yay! HKS SSQV is really, really, loud. I was being very gentle with the throttle at first. Using only about 1/4 throttle everything running fine. Try about 1/2 throttle and run into a bad stutter. I'm not sure what is going on with that just yet. It's either loading up with fuel really bad or something else is causing the car to cut out. I figure the ECU might still be trying to learn so I go back to using 1/4 throttle and everything is fine. I go about 1 more mile on the loop back to the garage and get a nice "poooof" sound. I figured I popped another pipe off, but after returning to the garage I had blew a hole in the coupler closest to the turbo. Those cheap Home Depot couplers won't work at all on the hot side. They get hot and get too weak to hold the boost. My friend produced a spare silicone coupler and I replaced the blown out one. At this point I was needing to leave for work so I was going to have to live with it for now.
3rd attempt---
On the way home to change clothes I blew a hole in the next cheap coupler down the way from the turbo. I had to drive it to work that way, but I have a local company that sells good couplers that I will buy tomorrow.
Right now I'm a little bummed about the CEL and the stutter, but I'm hoping it's something I goofballed when I redid the o2 wiring. Other than that the small problems are obvious and have easy solutions that I should have worked out by this weekend.
