Hmm... good point, honestly I don't know so I can't say. I may eat my words on that one. ha

I would guess that CA can choose to enforce it anyways, because you voluntarily came into the state. But i don't know 100%. (scratch)

In tort & punitive law, you are punishable in the state the offense occurs in (& also your residing state), but this isn't either of those, so... I'm not sure if CA would do that or not. My best guess is that they could if they wanted, and then it's up to you whether you want to drive back into that state and take care of it or not. That's how other driving offenses are anyways (speeding tickets and such).

i always thought that out of state cars couldnt get hassled by the cops here..at least for mods. you can still get a speeding ticket and such.

a speeding ticket is something you did on their roads.. mods to your car, as long as it's legal in your state, they can't get you on.. you'd be fine.
