its a protection mechanism, the car doesn't believe it has enough fuel delivery capacity to keep up with the amount of air being forced in, so it shuts off combustion all together.
Hey Bud, good to see you got everything put in! Howd that FMIC install go? The fuel cut thing is something we all deal with; only a few degrees difference and your ride will become a completely different animal. Ive been able to address this by having two different maps that i can switch between on my ssafc. Since the weather has been so fickle here in GA lately, ive been keeping my laptop in the car. I'd recommend picking up some sort of fuel management soon
