Haha. I need to find out the CA laws though. Last thing I need is my car impounded cause I boosted it.

As long as your car will pass smog over here in CA and gets inspected by California Air Resources board (CARB) then it will be totally Legal.

Oh and BTW, CA has some of the best drives for a cruze Its the Best State

Hey if you are planning to boost, are you going to do it OEM mazdaspeed, or aftermarket? The reason I ask, is because the engine needs to have all the smog stuff (evap system, cat, recycle breather valve etc) Ya, this is the only stuped reason for living in CA, we have the most strict laws when it come to emissions. Hey, if you want some more detail about it, let me know and i can look it up for you before you come here.

Also, what part of CA are you comming to?

If I throw the 170k trans into the car and it takes a s*** on me soon, no biggie right cause replacement shouldn't be that much since the car will be setup for a MT already?

I'm not sure yet, I always thought OEM but since I'll have a MT, I might go bigger. Well, I already live in CA but I'm not boosting. lol. I live in the HD(92308) and the car is in LA.
