xDJ DUBx's 03.5 Pure White LX-T

Tape?

Anybody gotta link? I can't find this stuff and I've never seen it before.

home depot, plumbing section, its white, smaller than a roll of electrical tape..

you just wrap a layer or 2 around the outside of the threads on the sender or the plug... and thread it right in.. teflon is very slippery (as you probably know), so it seals up any possible leaks in the threading..

yeah, what wagonbacker said.

Just wrap around the threads a few times, and tighten em down.

i may be wrong, but I don't think silicone is oil stable... I think this is a classic case of right tool (or material) for the right job... saving lots of headache.

that teflon tape should work, just wrap it around the threads like 3 or 4 times and itll be good. stuff works great for any leak

that much isn't necessary for a fitting this small. you only need that much if you're talking like a 1" or so fitting. these are tiny.

Thanks guys though for real, I still would have that stupid BC-2 kit and a half ass painted interior if it wasn't for your guys' help.

My first car was a 96 neon with an ebay body kit painted by maaco. I was going to put an aluminum spoiler and ebay fart can on it.... Yea. We have definitely all been there like the other guy said. Your car looks very clean now though man. Good job so far.
