actually no. There are pics and a detailed description in the how-to section I think. But it's literally take out old one, put in new one.

Vocko, yes, I don't have the headlight clips holding my bumper in place but I have no gap. When mounting my bumper, I have someone pull the bumper back to make it sit how I want it to sit while I tighten the bolts in the fender on both sides, does the trick everytime.

Some idiot hit me on the parking and drove off... The clip didnt brake but the part of the bumper that goes into the clip. Tried making it myself, even went to a few shops that do bumper repairs, but no go...

I'll try what you said, this time i'll remove even the drivers clip to give it a go.

quick ? kinda off topic, but those headlights are for the protege 5?? will they fit on a 2001 ES model and if so where can i get a pair???

if you mean dub's, yes. those particular ones are canadian only... or aftermarket. if you want the chrome bezel instead of black, those can be found in your local junk yard, on here, or ebay.

2001+ proteges have universally swapable headlights regardless of trim...es/lx/dx/p5/msp/etc...you will just have to meddle with a little wiring if you have the single hi/lo bulb headlights now because the p5 has dual bulb headlights (one for hi one for lo)

Mine are depo lights, look just like the Canadian ones but almost half the price. Only one seller on ebay carries them...

oh, and to clear it up, PROTEGE5 LIGHTS AND PROTEGE/MSP LIGHTS ARE THE EXACT SAME DESIGN, ONLY THE INTERNALS ARE DIFFERENT SO THEY BOLT RIGHT UP. I get asked that so much. lol.
