WTF is wrong with my car?

Discreet read reply to other thread. However, wouldn't you fricken know it the damn problem just went away. This whole thing happened on monday. So I kept the car on Tuesday(fiance's daily driver) and I couldn't get the damn thing to do it again. Scheduled a trip to the dealer for today and today I still couldn't get the thing to do it. I guess on the one hand it's a good thing, but on the other hand it sucks because the dealer won't be able to reproduce. The service writer said that they would still look into it so that it's documented in case something happens to the car later on that's related to this incident. I was like uh.. ok, cool. So i'm sitting at home just waiting for a call from Carlos at Jeff Haas Mazda to tell me when I can pick her up.
Same s*** happen to me and already had my car flashed so I new it wasn't that, took it to the dealer they couldn't do it again and neither could I they only thing they told me was that it might of been a bad batch of gas I used to put chevron but after that all I put now is exon and it has been good ever since.(shrug)

I just want to make sure no one thinks this is hesitation. I know what he is talking about and it's not hesitation.

It happened to me once when I 3/4 throttled it in 2nd, shifted at like 4k, went into third at 3/4 throttle, (by that time the ECU had pegged the fuel rich as S***) and the car bucked like hell.

Just gotta get engine management, only way to fix.

Everyone blames the MSP for running too rich for alot of the drivability problems. I just put in an FCD and can't believe how much smoother the car drives. I think the fuel cut being set too low causes problems even if the car is at stock boost. I drove the car for awhile at stock boost and once I turned up the boost it would hit fuel cut alot harder it was more obvious what fuel cut felt like. Put the FCD on and even though it is still running too rich it is much smoother even when I turn down the boost. Although I doubt your dealership will put a FCD on for you :)

I would say try reseting or reflashing the ECU.

If it only happens in 1st gear then its normal cuz I have the same problem too. I hate 1st gear! Just poor mapping I guess. Mines flashed and it kinda does it in 1st. I just like to stay out of 1st whenever possible so I wouldnt know.
