WTF HELLLLLLLLLLPPP!!!!! Coolant boiling

thermostat stuck, or air pocket that need purging. It might actually prevent coolant from flowing. One of those two have my vote.

The temp gauge won't move above the middle unless the engine in melting...

to check the thermostat, pull it out, put it in a pan full of water on the stove. boil the water and check to make sure the thermostat opens.

my started overheating when I put in the ebay radiator cap, i put in the stock one and it stopped. so i guess it wasn't pressurized. do you have the stock cap??

interesting... my gauge goes up if the coolant temp rises above 110C it seems. (about 230F)

it was a joke, but the oem gauge is very overdampened. it won't alert you of a problem until its too late usually.

Yea that is true. The gauge doesn't give an accurate reading. Just check the thermostat or the rad cap. The spring could be worn on the cap and is loosing pressure.
