It's in the solinoids. The solinoid that comes with the greddy,is made by greddy and is way superiour than the aem/unichip solinoid. It will hold a desired boost level and not spike on you like the other two. The reason why the evo/srt guy love them is because there not woried about detanation or ROD KNOCK in there motors like we are. There stock internals can handle 15-20 psi were are stock motors are pushing it's limits at 10-11 psi. Are you getting the picture here? Go look at the guys sigs on stock motors using a unichip. I bet you'll find 90% of them are using a greddy B specII. Look man my car was in the shop for two months because I had to learn the hard way and didn't educate myself first before buying mods I knew nothing about. The SEARCH button is your friend!

i appreciate everyones advice...
just for the record - ive used the search on the site and with google before but have never gotten too many good results. (search views the - in "tru-boost" as a space and returns everything that ever said boost in the post).
im not planning on boosting over 8 psi until i get an AFC and FMIC... ive read plenty about the balsawood rods, but like i said this is the first i had seen about the solenoid.
glad i found out before it was too late...

back on topic... maybe... looks like no one has this stuff anyways...
